Parenting a child with ADHD can be overwhelming, especially when we don’t fully grasp how it impacts their development over time. Every child’s journey is unique, and understanding their specific needs is key to finding the right interventions. As a neurodivergent specialist and personal experience as a parent, I know firsthand the challenges ADHD can bring to family life. With teachers, tutors, and doctors constantly focusing on the child’s deficits, it can overwhelming to say the least. But,
It’s important not to focus solely on ‘fixing’ behaviors, as this can harm a child’s self-esteem. Instead, we should emphasize their strengths while also supporting
areas they find challenging. This approach builds confidence and sets them up for success. My coaching helps parents navigate school choices, explore interventions beyond medications and create a very supportive home structure.
We see a diverse set of clients. Challenges such as anxiety, depression, disordered eating, relationship issues, as well as life transitions like divorce, loss of a loved one, empty nesting, starting university, or birth of a baby.
